December 8 (Saturday) will be the first Viewty-LensaMalaysia Field Trip for outdoor shoot in the Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur.

December 22 (Saturday), we will  have senior photographer CY Leow from Zealand to give a Seminar at the National Science Centre, Bukit Kiara.

TIME: 09.30am
PLACE: Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur
MEETING PLACE: Children's Playground, near Royal Lake Club

It is a casual field trip and to test-shoot on the 5-megapixel LG Viewty. LensaMalaysia - Viewty Preview Photographers will be on hand to provide shooting tips.

The outing is open to any LensaMalaysia member and all LG Viewty owners with an official voucher issued by authorised retail outlets.

The main aim is to share shooting tips using cameraphone and to participate in monthly Viewty Shoot Contest. Pictures taken during the few trip will be published on Viewty-LensaMalaysia Gallery at http://viewty.lensamalaysia.com, and there will be opportunities to win LG Top Prize --

A Viewty (LG KU990) for the Best Photo of the Month!

Those interested could register in this thread, and send a Private Message to jeffooi stating your IC name (in case you win a prize) and contact number. That will help us in logistics.

LG Viewty owners with official voucher please bring your own cameraphones. Make sure your battery is fully charged, and the miniSD card has been formatted.

LensaMalaysia members can borrow from the 15 loan units of LG Viewty if you don't own a Viewty yet -- first come first served. You are, however, required to deposit your driving license in exchange for the test unit. Collect your ID when you return the loan unit.

C Y Leow, senior photographer and former Picture Editor in various major newspapers in Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand, will be visiting Malaysia this month -- December 2007.

LensaMalaysia will be presenting the CY Leow Photography Seminar for Serious Amateurs on Saturday, December 22, 2007, in collaboration with LG Mobile, Malaysia. The three-hour Seminar will start from 2.00pm, located at the National Science Centre, Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.

Light refreshment will be served
